Compañía Técnica S.A.S. is registered in the Register of Auditing Entities of the Secretariat of Energy, created by Article 1 of Resolution 414/2021 of Argentina's Energy Secretariat. The registration was accepted for categories A-I, A-II, B-I and B-II, with our technical representatives registered before the Enforcement Authority.
This Registry was created in 2021 to expand the pool of entities authorized to carry out surface safety audits at refineries, hydrocarbon processing and storage plants, biofuel facilities, own-consumption installations and liquid fuel dispensing stations nationwide.
The resolution groups audits by type of facility. We are authorized for all four categories:
Within that scope we work with our own equipment and verified procedures: leak tightness and loss control in tanks and piping using pressure gauges, vacuum gauges and vacuum testing equipment, and ultrasonic thickness measurement to assess corrosion and thinning in tank shells and bottoms.
Working with an entity registered directly with the Energy Secretariat means a single point of technical responsibility from start to finish: from carrying out the audit to signing the report, with no intermediaries. This speeds up response times and maintains the traceability required by current regulations.
At Compañía Técnica we integrate surface safety audits with the rest of our non-destructive testing services, so your service station or storage plant has a single provider for tightness testing, thickness measurement and any complementary inspections you may need.
If your facility needs a surface safety audit or a renewal of a current one, get in touch. We have the authorization, equipment and registered technical representatives to ensure your facility's compliance.
See the full scope of the service on our Surface Safety Audit page.
At Compañía Técnica this translates into concrete work: surface safety audits and tank tightness audits, carried out with our own equipment, deployable anywhere in Argentina, and a report signed by a technical representative registered with the Energy Secretariat. The full catalogue of audits sets out the scope of each one.
